If Babies Ruled The World

Have you ever noticed how happy babies are? I mean even the grumpy ones can be easily soothed with a little love, food and attention.

Why are they pretty easy to comfort? Maybe it’s because they’ve had a lot less life experience than you and me, maybe they haven’t yet dealt with constant set backs and the world has not yet been able to make them synical and fearful.

Babies by nature are inquisitive, something many of us loose the sense of as we grow older, but it’s such a shame don’t you think? If we remained inquisitive then maybe we would stop accepting things at face value and start asking more questions and discovering new things, thus opening our horizons to a lot more than what we limit ourselves to.

If babies ruled the world, our society would be far different to how it is now.

For starters, there would be a lot more naps, more naps mean more rested people which should equate to calm and patient people.

If babies ruled the world, we would be a lot happier, we’d get a lot less done but we’d be way more satisfied.

We’d always be curious and be willing to try anything at least once.

If babies ruled the world, there would be no judgment, no hate, we would love each other because there would be no one to tell us to avoid anyone of a certain race, religion, gender, personality. We would be free to love anyone who loved to play like we do.

Call me an optimist but I can see the positivity of an infant ruling our country/world much more than putting it in the hands of someone who has any kind of negativity or prejudice.

The world is full of darkness but in the eyes of a baby, the darkness is pretty non existent, maybe seeing the world through rose tinted glasses is sometimes a good thing?

I think if we really thought about it, we could be on to something good here…

Just a thought.

Don’t forget…

Do something to make your parents proud today, your kids proud someday, and you proud everyday!

Peace and Love,

Jessy x
